Primary Responsibilities:

• - Uncover U.S. state and local tax issues pertaining to new business initiatives and the implementation of tax automation systems.
• - Conduct thorough research on state and local indirect tax matters.
• - Draft comprehensive written tax guidance and requirements for upcoming projects.
• - Effectively manage the analysis and documentation of tax implications associated with emerging business challenges.
• - Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and evaluate their organizational impact.
• - Lead and participate in special projects as needed.

 

Key Skills:

• - Proficient in advanced tax accounting, audit processes, and tax law.
• - Ability to skillfully prepare intricate tax returns for corporations.
• - Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at meeting stringent deadlines.
• - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• - Skilled in working effectively with multicultural teams, demonstrating patience and understanding.
• - Thrives in an adaptive, fast-paced startup environment.
• - Preferably possesses experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm. 

Minimum Requirements:

• - Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
• - Brings to the table 3 or more years of U.S. tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
